Multi-Tier Timber Retaining Wall Installation

This project involved the construction of a large, multi-level timber retaining wall system to stabilise a steep embankment and create a series of usable terraces for future landscaping and development.

Working on challenging ground conditions, our team carried out all excavation, setting out and installation works to ensure every retaining wall was accurately aligned and built to withstand the pressures of retained ground. Heavy plant was used throughout the project to safely excavate, backfill and compact each level as the retaining structure progressed.

Constructed using pressure-treated timber sleepers and heavy-duty steel support posts, the finished retaining wall system not only provides long-term structural stability but also creates an attractive stepped landscape that blends naturally into its surroundings.
